The post-doc position in Biotechnology Center in Southern Taiwan (Tainan) is available to study the function of the Root Meristem Growth Factor 1 (RGF1) peptide in root developmental zones in Arabidopsis. The successful candidates will be actively participating in one or two of the following projects:
1. Investigation of the regulation mechanism of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in the specific root developmental zones by RGF1 peptide using transcriptome and metabolome in Arabidopsis.
2. Identification of the proteins post-translationally regulated by ROS under the RGF1-receptor pathway in Arabidopsis roots.

Our institute is located in Tainan (south part of Taiwan). Living expenses in Tainan are reasonable. Tainan's climate is warm all year round and the security is very good. The new building of our institute was completed near the Tainan station of Taiwan High-Speed Rail. The location is very convenient for commuting from Kaohsiung and Tainan City. Our research facilities are state-of-art levels.
應徵資格：
1. 該職位需要具有轉錄組、代謝組、蛋白質組學或生物化學背景的候選人。
2. 優秀的溝通和人際交往能力，以及良好的英語口語、閱讀和寫作能力是必不可少的。
A candidate with transcriptome, or metabolome, or proteomics, or biochemistry backgrounds is desired for this position. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as good English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
