研究室簡介

當需要食物、水源,或當環境條件變得艱難時,動物會覓食、追捕或逃跑。然而,植物由於固定在原地,所以發展出顯著的韌性和特有的營養搜尋行為。我們團隊主要研究在根系生長和發育過程中支撐這種適應性的機制。

 

植物透過高度的生長彈性來適應環境,能夠根據環境變化調整其發育和生理功能,也可以改變自身生長方向、發育新器官或再生組織。這些生長發育的彈性多由植物荷爾蒙所調控。我們團隊探討植物細胞如何透過內膜系統運輸來整合環境刺激和內源訊號。透過分子生物學、發育和細胞生物學、遺傳學、生物化學以及數學建模等多學科方法,我們著重於研究蛋白質運輸、細胞極性、胞吞作用、以及與根系行為和向性相關的訊息傳遞機制。透過這些研究,我們將深入瞭解植物發育的調控過程,展示環境訊息如何整合到植物訊號傳導路徑中,從而引起生長和發育的變化。
